What does the role involve?
The focus of the Operations Director will be to provide transformational leadership and high impact coaching to drive the operational excellence and financial performance of our businesses.
You will apply strategic thinking across all functions to ensure we have the right teams with the right skills and training to deliver operational excellence. You will achieve this by leading by example as well as applying an entrepreneurial mindset to ensure we continue to increase the profitability of all our functions within the business.
We are looking for an Operations Director with lots of passion, energy & drive; a real self-starter with an authentic ‘hands on’ leadership style who has great attention to detail, analytical skills and an ability to manage fast paced business. As the Operations Director you will lead by example, applying an entrepreneurial mind set. You will engage, and execute your vision, coach & support your teams through to deliver the highest brand standards and customer service in a fast-paced environment.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the business providing a positive outlook for your teams and ensuring every business function operates efficiently with a laser focus.
As the Operations Director you will be a ’Brand Ambassador’ and build brilliant teams who can deliver the best results. You will work closely with the H.R team to attract, train, develop and retain the best people in the industry.
You will be accountable for the financial performance of the businesses including budgeting / forecasting, pricing, promotion, merchandising to ensure that the business maximises the sale performance of the business. You will also manage supplier relationships to ensure that you achieve the best possible contractual position.
As the Operations Director, you will have complete autonomy to drive the businesses forward. We are looking for a true champion, someone that will challenge the status quo and think ‘outside of the box’ to support the businesses to thrive.
As the Operations Director, you will have a proven background of driving success within the property sector and have strong financial and commercial acumen.
We are looking for a high flyer, who is passionate and driven who can support decisions with insight and analysis and lead the growth of the business across the UK.
You will possess excellent communication and leadership skills. You’ll be adaptable to change and will thrive in a fast-paced environment being extremely well organised and detail orientated.
We are looking for a forward-thinking innovative operator, who is up to date and confident in harnessing the latest technological innovations to improve systems and operational procedures.
